It truly is my experience as a loan officer, who is also a veteran, in my attempt at an “easy to comprehend and apply” format to prevent you from being screwed by the banks.

The 2 biggest veteran preferred banks (I won’t name them because they have a lot more money to pay lawyers than I do) are NOT the best choice for you 95% of the time. Every once in a while I see situations where they are, but usually not.
